Patterns, tiaras, fairies and castles

Posted by on November 26, 2013

We started off this morning talking about patterns, and the sorts of patterns we might notice on leaves and other things in the woods. The children really did use their noticing muscles and found all sorts of leaves. Some of the children worked together and built a castle out of the leaves, have a look at out video to see them working together. Some of the children found fairies and used their imagination muscles to pretend to look for tiaras. We thought this was a good idea and used leaves to make our own tiaras.
