Today we had a fire to finish off our forest school sessions. We really enjoyed ourselves, Mrs Stockdale and myself were super proud by how well all of the children remembered that they needed to keep sitting down to make sure they would be safe. What a brilliant morning, and we even had some sunshine.
This afternoon year 4 thought about all the different learning muscles they might stretch during the afternoon. They were able to give some good examples and explain why different learning muscles would be used. This weeks Ready steady Play session gave children and parents a little taste of some of the things we do in our woods. It was really cold this morning, but we had fun, and managed to notice things that our fairies had left out in the trees.
I really don’t know where to begin explaining what a brilliant day year 6 have had. We have been so lucky to have been given the opportunity to work with willow artist Carole Beavis.
