I really don’t know where to begin explaining what a brilliant day year 6 have had. We have been so lucky to have been given the opportunity to work with willow artist Carole Beavis. We started work on a huge willow sculpture today which will be part of an art installation at Cannon Hall later this month. We are the only school to be involved. The children have had a brilliant day learning new skills and having fun, not only that they have stretched lots of learning muscles. Can you think of some of the learning muscles that were stretched by looking at the pictures of what we have done. All the adults who have been involved are very proud of everyone from year 6 .

I can’t wait until next Thursday to finish off our sculpture.
