Our new group of explorers

Posted by on January 7, 2014

Today was the first session for our new group from early years. Some children from F2 took part today. We were thinking about noticing, and all the different ways we notice things, we thought about all of our senses. Although the children were excited they showed super listening. When we got to the woods, we did lots of noticing, some of the children even told us they had noticed signs that the Gruffalo was there. It wasn’t just our noticing muscles that we stretched, the children did brilliant persevering as we walked up the hill, I saw super collaboration and absorption. It was brilliant to hear so much chatter and laughing. We didn’t even mind that it rained part of the time.

I’m going to really look forward to Tuesday mornings.
