The very hungry caterpillar

Posted by on May 21, 2014

This week we are thinking about the very hungry caterpillar. We know he eats lots of different things and grows bigger. He then goes to sleep in a cocoon and after two weeks he turns into a beautiful butterfly. Some of us went to the woods today and listened to the story, we then made caterpillars and butterflies from clay, leaves and sticks. We stretched our noticing muscles to look for caterpillars but we couldn’t find any.

We finished off in the fire circle. We are only little but we know how to keep safe. We loved toasting our own marshmallows.
These are pictures from the morning group.

The afternoon group were brilliant too, they toasted their own marshmallows and did super sitting and listening until it was their turn.
