What a fabulous afternoon with year four today. The weather was miserable but the children certainly were not. We saw lots of collaboration and perseverance and there were loads of laughs. I was so impressed with how you managed to take all the dens back down and put everything away. Â Well done year four.
What super imagination this morning when the children from Cirp and year 1 went to the woods. Off they went to build a huge space rocket. Â The children stretched their noticing muscles and saw some clay, so they decided they wanted to make space rockets out of clay.
This week is art week. The children have been working on a space themed creation. Â We decided to use this idea in the woods. Â Kyle and Harrison built a space rocket and went on a journey into space. Â They stretched their imagination muscles and created imaginary aliens.
This afternoon we talked about taking risks and being safe. Â John used the sheath knife, he had to make sure he did all the right things to make sure he didn’t hurt himself.
