F2 had good fun this morning. Â
F2 did super investigating today. Â They estimated, predicted and found where loads of worms were hiding.
This afternoon we were thinking about compass directions and shapes. We used string to plot out shapes following written directions. What shape would it make if you walked five steps North, then three steps west, then five steps South and finish with three steps East?
What a fabulous morning in the woods. The children were so busy exploring Â in the woods. Â The children loved climbing trees, weighing and making a rock band with noisy log drums.
Both groups stretched their learning muscles this afternoon. The first group used the bow saw to cut wood. The saw is really sharp so we have to use it correctly. The children from our Children’s Centre are really good at taking turns. They were sending the toy dragon down the rope in a bucket. They could make him go fast and slow. Some of our afternoon children went to the woods for the first time today. They were really confident to explore and enjoyed playing with the mud kitchen.
Kyle and Harrison made up a story using the small pirates. They built a pirate island and made an escape chute using a bamboo pipe.
