Today we had groups from F1 and F2 in the woods. The F1 group haven’t been to the woods for quite a while, so I was really impressed with how they remember the different things to keep them safe. I think the favourite things today have been climbing trees, making mud and finding bugs!
On Monday some boys from year one went to the woods, they chose to use the tools. They used the hammers and the saws. They are pretty good with the hammers because they have used them a few times. It was the first time they had used our saws so they also had to learn … Continue reading

Year five made dens this afternoon, then toasted their own marshmallows.
F2 stretched lots of learning muscles today. They collaborated to build boats in the woods. Some of the children looked underneath logs to find creepy crawlies, they had to stretch their noticing muscles because they were hiding.
We were busy at after school club today but managed to take a few photos. It’s so good being able to watch the children get busy doing lots of different things. Some of the children had seen some things that year 6 had made this afternoon and then made their own.
