Look what our children from the children’s centre were doing this afternoon. These are some of our smallest children so we are so pleased with how well the sit at the fire circle.
Thank you to everyone who came to see the dummy fairy today. Well done for giving your dummies to the fairy, we all hope the magic fairy dust helps you to sleep. Good luck mums and dads!
This afternoon we were thinking about the importance of preparation and planning. We did this by preparing to have a fire in the fire circle. This afternoon the boys from year 6 were using the sheath knife. They had to follow the instructions to make sure they were safe. I was impressed with how the boys persevered.
The children are getting really excited because it is nearly Halloween. This morning we made potions. The children had to think of good describing words for the different ingredients. Josh and Tyler were in the woods this afternoon, they collaborated and worked really well together. Â I was pleased to hear the boys telling me about how they have been trying really hard to make the right choices this week.
Today some children from our children’s centre came to the woods. Â We were exploring and investigating. We found lots of autumn leaves, some of the children were really excited to find wiggly worms. Look at our pictures, can you see how the children are persevering to peg leaves onto a washing line.
