Big learners in the woods

Posted by on March 10, 2016

Well it was freezing today, but it didn’t put us off having fun in the woods. We had some visitors from other schools today. They had come along to find out some of the things we do in our woods and get some ideas to take back to their own schools.

I had a fabulous day and want to thank everyone who came along and well and truly got stuck in! As well as sharing some of our ideas and activities I love hearing what people are already doing in their schools with their children. I also get excited hearing people talk about the ideas people have for what they want to do in the future.

We tried out lots of different things, if you look at the video you might see some of the things that you have done in the woods.

The photographs are also here if you want to download any.
You can find out about Forest School training here.
For the pdf I mentioned with games and activities you need to google games for nature pdf and you will find it.

If you need anything or have any questions before the next session please email me or leave a comment here.

Thank you once again, I hope you had as much fun as me and that today was useful for you.
It would be great if you could leave a comment on our blog.
