Final year 6 group

Posted by on June 27, 2016

I had a lovely afternoon with this small group today. It was a little sad though as it was the last time I would take them into the woods as they are leaving us to go onto new schools. Watching them this afternoon made me think they are going to be successful in their learning journeys. We were using knives to whittle sticks, some of the children had done this before with me, and they made links to previous learning and mastered this skill a little more. Some of the children were new to this, they were brilliant at learning a new skill. I was impressed with how all of the boys persevered when things were a little difficult and didn’t just give up. Well done and good luck on the next step of your journey.image

Forest school is something Alex will never forget. He wishes he could do it in his secondary school.
The skills he has gained particularly from his small group learning will help him so much going forward.
Gilly, We are so grateful for your help, patience and understanding to get where we are today.
You are an absolute Gem X

Thank you Louise. I won’t forget Alex, he has been a real star and so much fun. He should be so proud of himself, he has made huge steps, and I’m sure he will continue to do so in his new school.
